Church of the Ascension, Munich

Mission Statement

The Church of the Ascension is an Anglican Church offering worship in English, and serving greater Munich and Bavaria. We welcome people of all nationalities to join our community and share in our journey towards a deeper knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ.

We seek to:

• Proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by word and deed
• Celebrate God through beautiful, meaningful worship
• Minister to one another through worship, fellowship, Christian education and pastoral care, and
• Care for people in the wider community through outreach projects, both alone and together with others.

The Church of the Ascension caters predominantly for the greater Munich area, but our sister churches also offer services in Augsburg and Nuremberg.
